Full-Body Handfasting is the new deal. It is the wedding for a year or a day. It is you & your beloved taking vows (seriously or not) and getting tied together in a summery and flower-clad ceremonial pavilion. Dive into a tight & embalming uniquely tailored full-body wedding ritual in which surrender is rewarded and hesitation is not. Bondage like this is powerful, kind and loving. In the transformational realm that emerges between comfort and confrontation you will be guided on a short and insightful trip into being together and as one, (or as two, three, four – whatever holds your fancy). Full-body Handfasting also caters to individuals who want to get together with themselves; marrying your self might be the best thing you ever did.
Historically “Handfasting” has been a term for "betrothal" or "wedding" since the 16th century and has come to be used as a replacement for "marriage" in the vocabulary of Neopaganism since the 1990’s – especially in Wicca where the ritual symbolizes vows for a lifetime, for all of eternity or for as long as love shall last. Bondage is the consensually tying, binding, or restraining of some-one for erotic, aesthetic, and/or somatosensory stimulation – it is an often misunderstood art of transformation and discovery.
Visitors of the festival are invited to surrender to getting tied together and married. Please visit the ceremonial pavilion for an appointment or an instant treatment. Come in pairs, groups of lovers, alone, bring whatever of your stuff you want to get closer to and take that togetherness to the next level.
